ECDSO-E response: operation in COVID-19 pandemic

The extraordinary meeting of Energy Community Distribution System Operators for Electricity (ECDSO-E) on 15/04/2020 was dedicated to the operation of the electricity networks during the COVID-19 crisis. Officials and experts from ECDSO-E elaborated on shared assessments of the critical issues that are or could constitute a threat to their operation. They agreed to publish an overview of the key challenges facing DSO operation as a result of the COVID-19 situation and their response. Draft overview, presenting a summary of inputs from DSOs, is attached for review. The final individual reports will be shared among ECDSO-E members internally for consultation and experience sharing purposes. The Secretariat was tasked to present the position of ECDSO-E and its members to the relevant Energy Community bodies, including the Energy Community Regulatory Board and Permanent High Level Group, as well as to financial institutions and the donors community.
